With G-d’s help
It is pleasant and unexpected to encounter sincerity nowadays. Perhaps this is precisely what we lack, both in our communication with the Creator and with other people. The book-album “Dad, tell me…” struck me with its openness and sincerity. I must admit, the courage of this delicate woman, Yael Trots, who fearlessly opened her soul to people, struck me first and foremost. Yes, in this book there is color, thought, and eternal Knowledge, refracted through the perception of a modern person; but the personal note and the trusting vulnerability of its author are most valuable to me.
This book should not be perceived as a textbook or a manual. It is an expression of the feelings of a person who has discovered a new world for herself. New for her, yet one that has always been the eternal heritage of our people and our families. I hope many people will be found whom this colorful narrative of the Days of Creation will inspire to rethink their own relationship with the Creator. Few manage to shape their experiences and thoughts as vividly, status-worthily, and honestly as Yael Trots has done. For that — many thanks.
