Kyiv History Museum, Kyiv, Ukraine
The opening of the exhibition took place in a relaxed atmosphere filled with flowers and
smiles. Beautiful music played, and only one question seemed to linger in the air:
"Why 26?"
According to Kabbalah, "26" represents the numerical value of one of the names of God,
pointing to the true Author of all creation—the Creator. It is no coincidence that Yael prepared
26 canvases for this exhibition.
The concept of the exhibition is tied to the 40 years of wandering by the Jewish people in the
Sinai Desert, a journey marked by divine miracles.
Water and the desert—two elements intertwined with the history of the Jewish people—
played a significant role in shaping them. Yael skillfully and emotionally portrays these two
elements in her paintings.
